Stocks to Watch: Titan, Airtel, BSE, Nykaa, Dabur India, Adani Power, Cupid

Earnings and New Deals Bring a Diverse Set of Shares Into Focus

Company results and business announcements will compete with mixed global market signals for investors’ attention.

Titan Company and Bharti Airtel are among the companies due to report Q2 results, while BSE, Nykaa and Dabur India have already posted earnings. Adani Power’s long-term supply agreement and Cupid’s retail partnership add separate business developments to Thursday’s watchlist, against a mixed global backdrop.

Global cues are pulling in different directions

A sharp fall in crude prices may offer some relief to markets, but the early indicators do not point to an unambiguously strong start. Brent crude slipped 1.03% to $93.63 a barrel, while WTI fell 1.3% to $86.97. Lower oil prices can ease cost pressures for businesses that use fuel or petroleum-linked inputs, although the benefit varies by company and does not guarantee gains in share prices.

The GIFT Nifty was down 348.5 points, or 1.4%, at 24,295 as of 7.45 AM. Asian markets were also weaker: Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.3%, South Korea’s KOSPI lost 3.2% and Australian shares declined 1.9%. That contrasted with overnight gains in the US, where the Dow rose 3.03%, the S&P 500 gained 1.58% and the Nasdaq added 1.4%. The split makes domestic trading direction harder to infer from any single global indicator.

Results put BSE, Nykaa and Dabur in the earnings spotlight

BSE reported a 44.9% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹809.1 crore for Q2FY27, with revenue up 34.1% to ₹1,432.7 crore. The figures place earnings growth and revenue expansion at the centre of investor scrutiny, though the announcement alone does not establish how the market will assess the results.

Nykaa’s consolidated net profit increased 206.8% to ₹101.2 crore and revenue rose 28.1% to ₹3,006 crore. Its board also approved the acquisition of an 82% stake in Simply Nam for ₹33 crore. Investors may weigh the strong year-on-year profit growth alongside the proposed acquisition, while recognising that the announcement does not quantify the deal’s future contribution.

Dabur India posted an 11.7% increase in net profit to ₹505.5 crore and 11.6% revenue growth to ₹3,563.1 crore. Its India FMCG business grew 10.7%, while international business expanded 20%. Bharti Airtel and Titan Company, among others, are due to announce Q2 results today, making their reported performance a key near-term catalyst.

Long-term power supply and retail reach shape company updates

Adani Power has signed a 25-year power supply agreement with Uttarakhand Power Corporation for 1,234 MW of ex-bus net thermal power, backed by an installed capacity of 1,320 MW. The duration and contracted supply are central details for investors assessing the business update; the announcement does not provide further financial terms or quantify its expected earnings impact.

Cupid announced an exclusive long-term retail partnership with V2 Retail across more than 425 stores, aimed at generating incremental annual revenue of ₹400 crore. That figure is a stated target, not reported revenue. Investors will need to distinguish the potential scale of the arrangement from its eventual execution and realised contribution.

The wider results slate shows uneven operating trends

The broader set of reported results is mixed. Lenskart Solutions’ profit rose 122.1% to ₹227.1 crore, with revenue up 35.7% to ₹2,845 crore. Shipping Corporation of India reported a 71% rise in revenue to ₹2,290 crore and net profit of ₹577 crore, compared with ₹189 crore a year earlier. NHPC’s net profit increased 51.7% to ₹1,549 crore.

By contrast, PI Industries reported a 9.1% revenue decline to ₹1,702 crore, a 57% fall in EBITDA to ₹233 crore and a margin contraction to 13.7% from 29%. These contrasting outcomes underline why investors may focus on the quality and drivers of performance, rather than treating the day’s watchlist as a single market theme.

Key Highlights

  • GIFT Nifty and Asian markets were lower, despite gains across major US indices.
  • Brent crude slipped below $95 a barrel, offering a potential cost tailwind for some businesses.
  • BSE, Nykaa and Dabur India reported year-on-year growth in Q2 profit and revenue.
  • Adani Power signed a 25-year supply agreement; Cupid’s retail partnership carries a stated ₹400 crore incremental annual revenue aim.
  • Titan and Bharti Airtel are among the companies scheduled to report Q2 results today.

Investor Note: Treat the watchlist as a guide to upcoming catalysts, not a buy or sell signal. Results, deal targets and global cues can affect companies differently, so investors should assess each development against the relevant business and their own risk tolerance.
