Kissht Jumps 8% as AUM Tops ₹10,000 Crore, Shares Double Since IPO

Kissht’s Lending Scale Reaches a New Milestone as Shares Rally

The AUM milestone strengthens the growth story, but investors will also be watching whether expansion comes with the promised improvement in credit costs.

Kissht’s parent, OnEMI Technology Solutions, said assets under management crossed ₹10,000 crore, as the fintech lender’s shares gained as much as 8% intraday amid a strong broader market. The company has also reported sharp year-on-year growth in profit and revenue, while guiding for further AUM expansion and lower credit costs in FY27.

AUM milestone and a supportive market lifted the shares

Kissht shares climbed to an intraday high of ₹340.45 on Thursday after opening at ₹321, nearly 2% above the previous close. By 2:35 PM, the stock had eased to ₹334 but remained firmly higher. The company’s announcement that AUM had crossed ₹10,000 crore gave investors a business-specific reason to focus on the stock; a strong rally in the wider market also provided support. The Nifty 50 was up 550 points, or 2.3%, at 24,515 at that time.

The distinction matters: the day’s gain cannot be attributed to the AUM update alone when the benchmark was also rising sharply. Still, the milestone puts the scale of Kissht’s lending business in focus and adds to the recent momentum in its shares.

Larger assets under management bring execution demands

OnEMI Technology Solutions attributed the crossing of the ₹10,000-crore mark to growth in its lending business. Chairman, director and CEO Ranvir Singh said disciplined underwriting, robust collections and a technology-led platform had supported the expansion. Those capabilities are particularly relevant as a lender grows: the value of a larger loan book depends not just on its size, but also on the quality of lending and borrowers’ ability to repay.

AUM is therefore an important measure of business scale, but it is not, by itself, a measure of profitability or asset quality. Investors will want to see whether Kissht can continue growing while maintaining underwriting standards and collections. The company’s stated expectation of lower credit costs is one indicator to track against that challenge.

Results and FY27 guidance set the next test

In the September quarter of FY27, net profit doubled year on year to ₹120 crore, while revenue from operations increased 45% to ₹731.8 crore. The growth in both measures gives investors evidence that business expansion has been accompanied by stronger reported earnings and revenue in the quarter. However, the figures alone do not explain how credit performance or costs contributed to the outcome.

For FY27, Kissht has guided for 60% AUM growth and expects credit costs to decline 15% year on year. Meeting both aims would require the company to expand its lending base while improving the cost associated with credit losses. Progress against that combination—not growth in AUM in isolation—will help investors assess the durability of the business trajectory.

A near-doubling since the IPO raises the bar

Kissht listed on the NSE at ₹190 in May, an 11% premium to its ₹171 IPO issue price. The stock later reached ₹388.15 on October 5; at ₹334 in Thursday’s afternoon trade, it remained nearly 100% above the issue price. That performance has rewarded investors who bought at the IPO price, but past gains do not establish what the shares are worth today. The supplied figures do not provide a valuation measure, so the rally should be considered alongside the company’s ability to deliver on its operating targets.
