New Plant Details and Capacity Expansion

Stylam Industries has officially begun production at its new laminate facility adjacent to its existing plant in Manak Tabra, Panchkula, Haryana. This expansion is significant as it adds approximately 5.25 crore square meters of manufacturing capacity per annum, based on 1 mm thickness of laminates, equating to around 60,000 tonnes annually. The total investment in this project amounts to Rs 300 crore, funded through the company’s internal accruals.

The company’s existing facilities in Panchkula and Manak Tabra-1 already have a combined capacity of approximately 8.60 crore square meters per annum, with a utilization rate of around 90%. This new unit is expected to significantly bolster Stylam’s ability to cater to the growing demand for high-pressure laminates (HPL), a product for which the company has established a strong export presence in international markets.

Financial Performance and Market Response

Stylam Industries has shown impressive financial growth, reporting a 70.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27, reaching Rs 48.16 crore, up from Rs 28.27 crore in the same quarter last year. This growth trajectory reflects a robust 25.9% increase compared to the previous quarter’s profit of Rs 38.25 crore.

Revenue from operations also saw a healthy increase, rising 15.37% year-on-year and 15.38% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 326.47 crore in the June 2026 quarter. Following this positive news, the company’s stock price rose by 0.83%, trading at Rs 3,208.90 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
