TTK Prestige’s Strong Quarter Brings Margins Back Into Focus
Higher sales and a sharp improvement in operating profitability powered the kitchenware maker’s second-quarter earnings growth.
TTK Prestige reported a 65.2% year-on-year rise in Q2FY27 net profit to ₹104.4 crore, alongside 22% growth in revenue from operations. EBITDA increased faster than sales, lifting the margin to 17.9%, while the company also reported a free cash balance of more than ₹755 crore.
Profit growth outpaced the rise in sales
TTK Prestige’s net profit reached ₹104.4 crore in Q2FY27, up from ₹63.20 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. The latest figure includes a ₹2 crore impairment loss on the company’s investment in GramyaHaat compulsorily convertible debentures. That detail provides useful context when assessing the reported bottom line, although the company’s operating performance was also stronger across key measures.
Revenue from operations rose nearly 22% to ₹1,008.96 crore from ₹833.70 crore. Total sales increased 22% to ₹959.3 crore, compared with ₹786.6 crore in Q2FY26. Together, the figures show that earnings growth was supported by higher reported revenue as well as improved operating profitability, rather than by sales growth alone.
The margin expansion is the quarter’s key operating signal
EBITDA climbed 71% year on year to ₹171.7 crore from ₹100.5 crore, outpacing the increase in revenue. The EBITDA margin widened to 17.9% from 12.8%. This indicates that the company converted a greater share of sales into operating earnings during the quarter, a notable feature of the results alongside the top-line growth.
Whether that margin improvement can be sustained will matter in coming quarters. One quarter’s figures do not establish a lasting trend, and the supplied results do not detail the factors behind the expansion. Investors will therefore want to track whether operating profitability holds up as sales develop, rather than treating the latest margin as a guaranteed new baseline.
Domestic sales led the growth, while new products add a watchpoint
Domestic sales rose 23.4% year on year to ₹944.5 crore. Export sales stood at ₹14.8 crore, making the domestic business the clear contributor to the reported sales base in this quarter. The figures put the performance of the company’s home market at the centre of the results, while offering little evidence in this release of a significant export contribution.
TTK Prestige also introduced seven new stock-keeping units across categories during the quarter. The launches broaden the product activity reported for the period, but the results do not quantify their contribution to sales. Their commercial significance will depend on how they perform over time; investors should avoid assuming that product introductions will automatically translate into material revenue growth.
A sharp share-price response raises the bar for follow-through
TTK Prestige shares climbed more than 14% intraday after the results, reaching ₹630 before trading at ₹603.10, up 10%, as of 2:30 p.m. The session’s volume was also unusually high: nearly 5.5 million shares had changed hands, around 100 times the previous session’s 49,695 shares. The move shows a forceful market response to the earnings release, but it does not establish how the stock will perform next.
The company’s free cash balance of more than ₹755 crore, including short-term liquid investments, provides another point for investors to consider when evaluating its financial position. The balance was reported as of September 30, 2026. It should be viewed alongside the operating results, not as a substitute for assessing future sales, margins and cash generation.
Key Highlights
- Q2FY27 net profit rose 65.2% year on year to ₹104.4 crore, including a ₹2 crore impairment loss.
- Revenue from operations increased nearly 22% to ₹1,008.96 crore.
- EBITDA grew 71% to ₹171.7 crore, and the margin expanded to 17.9% from 12.8%.

Investor Note: The quarter combines solid sales growth with a substantial improvement in EBITDA and margins, while the share-price rally reflects an immediate positive response to those results. Investors may want to watch whether margin strength persists and whether new products contribute meaningfully to sales; the strong quarterly figures alone do not guarantee that performance will continue.
