Hitachi Energy, KFin, Jubilant Food Show Bullish Technical Signals: Analyst

Three Stock Setups Emerge as Key Index Levels Come Into View

Technical signals point to selective opportunities, but the broader market may pause near resistance.

An analyst has highlighted bullish chart patterns in Hitachi Energy India, KFin Technologies and Jubilant FoodWorks, with specific entry, stop-loss and target levels. The calls come as the Nifty approaches resistance and Bank Nifty continues to lag the broader index’s recent advance.

Nifty rally meets a resistance zone

The Nifty has gained more than 1,400 points in six trading sessions and is approaching the 23,880–24,000 zone. The analyst identifies this as a crucial resistance area, aligned with the 150% and 161.8% Fibonacci extension levels of the previous wave. After a sharp run, that technical barrier could make the next few sessions less straightforward.

An hourly momentum indicator has registered a negative crossover, which the analyst reads as a sign that upward momentum has eased. The view is for possible consolidation between 23,700 and 24,000, rather than an uninterrupted move higher. The broader uptrend is described as intact, so the suggested strategy is to look for dips instead of chasing prices near resistance.

The proposed Nifty trade is to consider the 23,800–23,750 area for buying, with a stop-loss at 23,650 and an upside target of 24,000–24,220. These are technical levels in the analyst’s strategy, not assured outcomes; a break below the stop-loss would challenge the near-term trade setup.

Bank Nifty needs to clear 56,200

Bank Nifty has risen about 4% during the current rally, compared with roughly 7% for the Nifty. Its chart structure remains positive, with a pattern of higher highs and higher lows, but the index has repeatedly met resistance between 56,000 and 56,200 over the past couple of months. A sustained move above that band is presented as important for further gains.

The gap formed between 55,000 and 55,200 on 3 November is identified as near-term support. If Bank Nifty moves above 56,200, the analyst sees potential for a move towards 57,000–57,350. Until then, the index’s relative underperformance and the nearby resistance make confirmation important for traders considering the bullish view.

Three shares, three different chart triggers

Hitachi Energy India is recommended at ₹28,765, with a stop-loss of ₹27,670 and a target of ₹30,921. The cited trigger is an engulfing bullish candlestick pattern near the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level of the stock’s move from ₹25,420 to ₹29,280. A positive crossover in the daily momentum indicator adds to the reversal signal identified by the analyst.

KFin Technologies is recommended at ₹896.15, with a stop-loss at ₹870 and a target of ₹947. Its setup is a breakout from a five-day consolidation, accompanied by above-average volume. Jubilant FoodWorks, recommended at ₹436.20 with a ₹425 stop-loss and ₹455 target, has broken out of an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern. The analyst notes that the breakout came with the highest volume in a month and a positive momentum crossover.

The signals differ: Hitachi Energy’s call rests on a reversal near support, while KFin and Jubilant FoodWorks are based on breakouts. Volume and momentum provide confirmation in the latter two setups, but chart patterns can fail. The specified stop-losses therefore form an important part of each trade, rather than an optional detail.

Key Highlights

  • The Nifty’s 23,880–24,000 resistance zone could limit near-term momentum.
  • The analyst favours buying Nifty dips around 23,800–23,750, with a 23,650 stop-loss.
  • Bank Nifty faces resistance at 56,000–56,200; a move above 56,200 could open the stated 57,000–57,350 range.
  • Hitachi Energy’s setup is based on a bullish reversal pattern near a Fibonacci support level.
  • KFin Technologies and Jubilant FoodWorks have chart breakouts supported by volume and momentum signals.
