Strong Q2 Results Drive Investor Confidence

TIPS Music reported a robust 23% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) for the July-September quarter, amounting to ₹65.5 crore, compared to ₹53.2 crore in the same period last year. This growth, however, came with a slight contraction in PAT margin, which fell to 54.6% from 59.6% a year earlier. The company’s revenue from operations also saw a significant boost, climbing 35% to ₹120.1 crore, up from ₹89.2 crore in Q2FY26.

The EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹84.6 crore, reflecting a 25% increase from ₹67.8 crore in the previous year. Despite this growth, the EBITDA margin contracted to 70.5%, down from 76% in the same quarter last year, indicating rising costs, particularly in content production, which surged by 97% year-on-year to ₹26.2 crore.

Interim Dividend Signals Financial Health

In addition to its strong financial performance, TIPS Music’s board has declared an interim dividend of ₹6.50 per share, equivalent to 650% of the face value. This dividend is a clear indicator of the company’s confidence in its ongoing profitability and cash flow management. The record date for this dividend is set for October 22, 2026, with payments expected to be made by November 12, 2026.
